Open house Imtech Marine & Offshore successful

June 5 2007

The open house of Imtech Marine & Offshore, Radio Holland, Royal Dirkzwager and Imtech ICT which was held on Saturday April 28th, was very successful. Over 80 visitors, mainly technical and ICT students visited the Imtech Marine & Offshore location at the Waalhaven in Rotterdam.

Imtech works hard to recruit new talents. Next to the nation wide campaign “Imtech goes for the top” Imtech organizes open house days at various locations giving a good view of the possibilities that Imtech offers to technical and ICT students and professionals.

In the entrance hall of the Imtech Marine & Offshore office the four companies, all part of Imtech, presented their company. Visitors could obtain more information and enjoy the hospitality. Part of the program was a tour of the facility. At various locations in the building Imtech employees explained enthusiastically about their work and projects on hand and showed various technologies. Among the visitors a raffle of a laptop was organized. The lucky winner was Michel Hosters, a graduated HBO Information Science student.

Michel says: "A friend of mine, William Schep, works at Imtech Marine & Offshore. He is very enthusiastic about his work, which made me want to have a look at Imtech. This was possible during the open house. I’m invited for an introduction interview at Royal Dirkzwager, so it is possible that I will join an Imtech company!"

In the meantime we received various CV’s and completed job application forms. Annet Boers, senior communication manager comments. "We hope that we have inspired technical and ICT students and professionals to apply at one of the Imtech companies. Imtech is the ideal employer for all “high potentials” in technology and ICT who are looking for an interesting and possibly international career.
