Since entering the UK market 10 years ago, Imtech has gone from strength to strength. The latest development in the company’s success story is the announcement that Jim Steele has handed over the position of UK CEO to Paul Kavanagh. As of 1 January 2013, Paul has taken up his new role, with Jim still involved in the business as Group Director. This is all part of the company’s on-going strategy for growth and development.
Gouda – Royal Imtech N.V. (IM-AE, technical services provider in and outside Europe) announces that it is selected as one of the technology partners on the Greater London Authority’s (GLA) multi-million RE:FIT framework. RE:FIT is the Mayor of London’s award-winning programme, which provides a commercial model for public bodies wishing to implement energy efficiency improvements to their buildings or estate, which can include local energy generation measures. At the same time, Imtech has recently received technology orders in London with a total value of over 47 million euro.
Imtech UK announces the acquisition of Capula a leading advanced automation and real time business intelligence provider in the UK. Jim Steele stated: “The acquisition of Capula further demonstrates to the market the continued commitment of Imtech to broaden both its technological capability and provide a more integrated service offering to its clients.”
Imtech Technical Services Ltd (ITSL), leading UK and Ireland mechanical and electrical engineering contractor, was awarded ‘Environmental Project of the Year’ recently (12 July) at a prestigious award ceremony in London.
Imtech Meica Plumbing Apprentice, Eugene Oppong-Kwarteng, asking a question of the Prime Minister, David Cameron, in the question and answer session hosted by the PM at yesterday’s audience at the Olympic Handball Arena.
The event, hosted by the Prime Minister and his Deputy Nick Clegg, was to announce Government measures around youth employment, and to mark the completion of the Handball venue.

Imtech has announced that it is acquiring the technological maintenance company Inviron. Inviron is one of the few companies in the UK fully specialised in technical maintenance and management and forms a perfect match with Imtech’s existing activities. With close to 1,100 permanent employees, Inviron has an annual turnover of over £110 million.
Three Imtech businesses recently won four safety awards - RoSPA Gold Awards were picked up by Imtech Meica, Imtech Process and Imtech G&H.
These were collected up by Rory McDonagh, Mike Moss and Darron Littlehales and Robin Hazzledine respectively. In addition, at a separate ceremony, Imtech Process won the Water Industry Health and Safety Initiative of the Year Award.
