Thursday 23rd of October, 2008 - Nampo Plant Bothaville.
So everyone had read in the other blogs of our team members there were a lot of different experiences.
In Africa the sun can change quickly into rain so also the appointments can chance every minute. Because of that you have to life minute by minute and that’s very strange with the normal daytime in the Netherlands.
The work the guys did on the Nampo Plant was really amazing because it was very hot and also a lot of work. With the people who are working for Carlo Bakker, Musa and Mthok”s, we began to get a great personal bond.
All though there is a lot of work there was also some time off to relax and smell the culture of South Africa. In this free time we, Carlo Caroline Bram and I, went to a farm were they breed wild animals for the wildparks and zoo’s all over the world. I was amazed with how much love the people of this farm were talking about the animals and with the animals.
We saw a lot of animals like tigers, lions, alligators wild cats and much more.
In the time that we are spending with the 2 groups and the people who are helping us to finish this project we have a lot of joy. Also because we are people from the Netherlands with our own opinions. Also with our Dutch sayings translated to English like: Ahead with the goat! (Vooruit met de geit). More of this sayings you can find on de quotes of Imtech in South Africa on a different headline on the weblog.
For now I have to say thanks to everybody who is helping us here in Africa.
Kind regards,
Robin Huijser

Also for Carlo there is time to relax! Allthough…………..
