On Monday 19th January Aqua completed the next phase of its strategic growth and development plans by re-naming the Company ‘Imtech Aqua’. This exercise although purely a name change is a significant step in aligning the Aqua business within Imtech UK.

Imtech Aqua will retain it’s local autonomy, but will gain the added benefits of being part of a much larger organisation within the UK and internationally - Imtech Technical Services Ltd is one of the UK’s fastest growing M&E groups.

Being part of the ‘Personable & Professional’ Imtech Group fits comfortably with Imtech Aqua’s business objective of being a 1st class employer, working with key clients on a repeat business basis and provides a strong financial base in the current economic climate.

The association with Imtech started in April 2007 when the business was acquired and the relationship has developed over the last 18months. Positive outcomes include the sharing of knowledge and competencies in areas such as business processes and integrating customer relationships. Working groups across all business units have been formed where there are gains to be made through improving  service delivery and staff working conditions; these groups currently include; health, safety & the environment, human resources, communication, project management, staff development and finance.

All of these have helped Imtech Aqua start the process of moving towards its next strategic objective of £50m turnover by 2012.

The re-brand will be ongoing throughout the 1st quarter of 2009 and has been seen by all the staff and Directors as a positive step forward.
