Pertec (Pty) Ltd. is part of Radio Holland Group. Pertec traces its origins, then trading under the name of Marine Services, as suppliers of specialised electronic equipment to the marine industry. Founded in 1963, Marine Services established itself as the premier marine electronics organisation in Southern Africa. Its markets included the SA Navy, shipyards, commercial marine and commercial fishing companies, plus the leisure marine industry - both power and sail.
In recent years the need for expanded horizons resulted in the acquisition of Performance Aviation. Pertec, the entity that came into being from the amalgamation of Marine Services and Performance Aviation, was thus able to add to its product portfolio - land based satellite communications systems, avionics and ultra high accuracy GPS positioning fixing systems.
